Traditional Tastes of Milos: A Culinary Journey
Gastronomy
Discover Milos Through Its Authentic Local Flavors
Traditional Tastes from Milos Island
Milos Gastronomy
It is worth trying the pitarakia of Milos, filled with dry cheese or mizithra with mint, the watermelon pie and the sweet koufeto made from sweet zucchini crumbs with honey and almonds. It is traditionally served at weddings and engagements. In addition to these delicious sweet and savory products, on the island you will buy local honey, local tomato paste, capers, barley and wheat buns.
The Amazing Experience
Diving & Snorkelling
One of the most popular activities in Milos is the daily boat trips to discover amazing caves. Kleftiko, Gerontas, Sykia, Papafragas, Glaronisia and many others inaccessible beaches and caves are now considered as monuments of nature all over the world, making the island of Cyclades a very popular destination. Daily excursions with catamarans, sailing boats and small boats are organized on a daily basis from the harbor of Adamas to show around the visitors the “hidden”, beautiful sights of the island. There are also sailing boats from the port of Pollonia to Kimolos island for daily trips.
In our hotel, we are providing you with any information you need for these excursions.
